Smoothcomp System
We use Smoothcomp for all our tournaments. It is an amazing system!
If you already have a Smoothcomp account, we suggest you check to make sure all your information is entered into the system such as birth date, e-mail address, and mobile phone number.
Having a Smoothcomp account makes it very easy for you to stay updated with all the information needed on the day of the tournament such as brackets, schedule, and upcoming matches.
Finding Matches On Smoothcomp In 3 Easy Steps

On the top of this page, you will see a link that will lead you directly to the brackets.
Once you go to the BRACKETS, you will see a top menu that has the following three items:
INFO - ATHLETES - MATCHES
Click on the "Matches" so you can apply the filter and search for competitor name.
STEP 2: APPLY FILTER

Apply the filter by typing the competitor's name. Scroll down and click SEARCH.
This will filter everything and only show the matches for the specific competitor.
We suggest typing the LAST NAME since there might be many kids with the same first name. For even better results, you can type in the competitor's FULL NAME.

Once the filter is applied, you will see:
MAT NUMBER & MATCH TIME
Done! That is the info you need! That simple!
We keep our brackets moving at a very fast pace! So, competitors must be ready at least 1 hour before that scheduled time! See you on the mat!
Making Changes to Registration

Navigate to the Account tab at the top of your profile page.
Under YOUR REGISTRATIONS, locate your current registration beneath the athlete’s name.
To the right, click the EDIT button to make the desired change to athlete registration.
Reminder: The last chance to make changes to the registration for the Murrieta tournament is edit is Sunday, Jan 12, 2025 - 11:59 PM.
MAKE CHANGE (WEIGHT)

After clicking EDIT, your entire registration will open. Focus on the Entry section, where you’ll see the athlete’s entry details.
Note: You can only modify the weight. This is common, as not all brackets fill up, allowing you to select a heavier bracket if needed.

SAVE YOUR CHANGE!

After selecting the new desired category, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.
Important: If you do not click SAVE, your changes will not be finalized, as the system will not save them. Make sure to click SAVE!
Return to the athlete list and click REFRESH to confirm that your registration has been updated and the athlete appears in the new bracket.
