Single Bracket Options
Option 1 - Receive the 1st Place Medal
The athlete may stay in their current weight class, make weight, and receive the 1st place medal for their division. Please note: Option #1 is the default option if athletes do not respond to info@supercupjj.com by 5 PM (event local time) before the Registration CHECKDAY deadline.
Option 2 - Move Division
Move up one age division, and/or move to a different weight division. By moving to a different division, athletes may be paired with an opponent. However, Super Cup cannot guarantee that an opponent will be available. The parent/legal guardian can make their selection(s) after viewing the Athlete’s List by Division. The decision to change divisions should be made solely at the parent/legal guardian's discretion. If the parent/legal guardian chooses Option #2, please be aware that the athlete will be required to make weight for the new division. Parents/legal guardians will need to specify the exact division that they wish the athlete to move to. Teen 2 athletes and under are allowed to move up one age division if they are alone in their original division. The request to move up one age division must be done by the parent / legal guardian registered on the athlete's Smoothcomp account. Teen 3 athletes are not eligible to move into the Juvenile division.
Option 3 - Withdraw Registration
Withdraw from the tournament if alone at 5 PM on the Registration CHECKDAY.
Athletes who are alone in their division on the Registration CHECKDAY are eligible to receive a full coupon refund of their tournament registration fee if they contact info@supercupjj.com PRIOR to the end of the Registration CHECKDAY DEADLINE. Refund coupons will be processed after 5 PM (event local time) if the athlete is still alone after the CHECKDAY period.
